Well, what can I say! I've watched these young lads play the last six games and control it! but we have ended up with only one win in that time! Whether it's finishing or defending or decision making they just need to show consistency throughout the game and bury every chance they get, clear their lines when needed make the right decision. With a goal from Joe Muskett(24mins) and a Beccles own goal (Lovelock - 35mins) we could have gone in 2-0 or more up at half time after a brace of good chances missed along with some good defending from Beccles pair Lovelock and Boyd. Bailey scoring from a well worked free kick saw us go in at Half Time 2-1. Beccles soon got back into the game and levelled on 51st minutes from a corner put in by Boyd, On the hour the Wroxham boys stayed organised playing and moving the ball around well, soon an chance opened up through the centre, Deagan Watts run at and through the defence finishing well to put us back in front at 3-2. what happened next was hard to take soon Beccles levelled the game again from a free kick on 77 mins finished by Newman now it was 3-3 with but a few minutes left on the clock we looked the more likely scorers. Bishop running down the left, skipped and battled passed a few players and delivered a cross which was met with a scissor kick from Bailey giving Beccles a 3-4 and lead for the first time in the match, The Yachtsmen's onslaught was now relentless, pressure was building on The Wherrymen and The Yachtsmen must have thought they had levelled it but for an amazing save by their keeper Cable on 94 Mins. Wroxham's efforts deserved much more from this match. They can certainly take a lot from it.
