Wroxham FC Reserves Vs Long Stratton FC

A great start to the game with James Everett meeting a whipped in cross glancing in for the first Wroxham goal after just 10 minutes. Only 10 minutes later and Joe Muskett added a second. The Ressie's controlled much of the game with about 60/40 possession. At half-time The Yachtsmen go in 2-0 up. The second half started with the visitor's having much of the play and pressurising the Wroxham ressie's defense, it indeed forces an error and Long Stratton FC had pulled one back 2-1 , but the 'ressies' dug deep and began to pile the pressure on in the opposite direction and benefitting from a few free kicks from some over zealous challenges surely we must take advantage and missed two or three very good openings but then Joe Muskett popped up again with a good finish to restore our two goal advantage to 3-1, the rest of the game was a battle for both sides with neither making possession pay. The referee blew his whistle with the score finishing 3-1 to Wroxham FC Reserves they now climb above Long Stratton FC to 9th place from 13th.
