Neighbours Stalham gained revenge for an earlier defeat by Wroxham Reserves at Rivers Park with two goals scored just before half-time and again just before full time.

Stalham just about deserved their win as Wroxham lacked a cutting edge up front as the goals scored freely early in the season have dried up.
There was little between the sides in the early exchanges but a brilliant recovery by Archie Galley to take the ball off Lawrence Cheese denied the Stalham striker on 6 minutes.
Wroxham had a couple of chances but didn’t get the support of referee Mary Harmer with either which could have resulted in penalties.
A great run by Marcus Wilkinson saw the speedy Wroxham player glide past two defenders to get in a shot that shave the post.
Then at the other end a shot from a Stalham player was squirmed away by Wroxham ‘keeper Kingsley Barnes with Seamus Bobby clearing up.
A header by Tom McCarthy cleared the bar from a free-kick as Stalham stepped up a gear.
They broke the deadlock two minutes before half-time when Wroxham gave the ball away to McCarthy who side stepped to lay the ball off to Daniel Crosby who hit an absolute screamer from 35 yards into the top corner with Barnes making a desperate flying dive but unable to get anywhere near.
Wroxham had a good chance to equalise soon after half-time when Wilkinson played the ball to Shaun Taylor who got in a cross from the bye line to Aaron Attree whose shot was somehow blocked on the goal line.
Wroxham had a let off themselves when a miscommunication saw Barnes rushing out to kick clear only for the ball to hit Crosby and roll agonisingly towards goal but beyond the post. Barnes was booked for his robust attempt to clear.
Stalham went close with two more chances as Wroxham were forced on the defensive. The visitors doubled the lead with a late goal of sheer determination by Danny Camish who beat Barnes to the ball and stabbed home.
The young Yachtsmen have picked up just one point from the last eight games and can’t wait for the season to finish. There is only one game left which will be played on the 3G at Open Academy next Saturday against Waveney.
