Wroxham Reserves again made it difficult for themselves after almost giving away a three-goal lead but gained a deserved 4-3 win away to neighbours Stalham Town.

There was a scrappy start with a cold wind blowing in from the north. Wroxham had early chances with the wind behind them notably when Matt Halliday headed narrowly wide.
On 14 minutes Matt Doyle crossed for Danny Rogers in the six-yard box but the ball got stuck between his legs and Stalham managed to turn the ball behind.
Rogers again bundled his way thro’ and shot from tight angle beyond the far post.
As Wroxham started to get on top, an long ball from Ollie Ebbage set Doyle away down the left but his shot took a deflection and went over.
A free kick for a foul on Aaron Attree was taken by Tom Rampling and his whipped in cross reached Ebbage whose header was just over.
After a series of corners, a long range shot from Attree was well saved by Thomas Nicholls as Stalham were on the back foot. Then a good shot from Rampling also broght a fine save from the home keeper.
Wroxham were applying more pressure as the first half progressed with further corners and Halliday again going close with a header,
Finally on 33 minutes they got the goal that had been coming. Attree’s shot was turned aside by Nichols and Dotle followed up to stroke the ball in.
Stalham came out from falling behind and broke away for Lewis Crosby to shoot but his effort was deflected over.
Shaun Taylor tried his luck for Wroxham but his long range shot drifted wide.
On 43 minutes Wroxham got a second which thoroughly deserved on the balance of play. A corner from the right curled in for Ollie Ebbage to covert at the far post.
After the break Wroxham were rampant looking for third goal but Nicholls again kept them out with a fine save.
A brilliant move on 50 minutes finally extended the lead. The ball was played down the right and a lovely cross found Shaun Taylor to side foot home.
Stalham could have given up but they fought their way back. A good shot went close before they did pull one back when a rather casual header away by Wroxham defender fell into the path of Charlie Skipper duly converted past Lemmon on 65 minutes.
Then Stalham almost scored again as they pressed forward and a shot beat Lemmon only to come off the inside of the post for Ebbage to clear the danger and put behind.
It was no surprise when Stalham did score again with a long-range effort form Jack Child on 70 minutes.
Wroxham were rattled but from a free kick the ball was headed on for Nicholls to pull off another good save diving to his left.
Then on 80 minutes they scored a 4th when Halliday played in Aaron Attree who ran on to fire home and give Wroxham a further cushion at 4-2.
But Stalham were still not done as a shot from Laurence Cheese came off the bar and over. Then they scored a 3rd goal on 85 minutes when Cheese volleyed in a cross into the six-yard box.
Wroxham still had some anxious moments but held on to take the points.
