Former 1st team stalwart Josh Carus was signed before the game but he showed rusty signs with his first touch which almost gave Reepham the lead as Nathan Pauling brought off a fine save to save his blushes.
With the game flowing from end to end, Reepham had another chance which was wasted while Wroxham went close with a couple of efforts.
The home side took the lead on 18 minutes with an excellent goal. Marcus Wilkinson waltzed past four Reepham players to get in a cross which Shaun Taylor volleyed past Danny Lloyd.
Wroxham again had the ball in the net on 22minutes but it was disallowed for offside although several observers questioned the decision.
Reepham had to make a change midway through the half as former Yachtsmen Sam Groves replaced an injured colleague.
Wroxham were playing some neat football and should have added to the lead but the visitors equalised on 38 minutes with a typical poacher’s goal from former Yachtsman Stephen Drake. No 11 skipped past Harry Severn’s ineffective challenge to get away and send in a lovely cross from the by-line. Drake strode forward and was in the right place to side foot past Pauling.
The goal gave Reepham a lift as they got their tails up to put the Wroxham defence under severe pressure held firm until half time.

Wroxham regained the lead soon after half time when some good inter play involving Ed Abery, Marcus Wilkinson and Nathan Stewart set up Harry Maddison who side footed home.
Then Wilkinson made another strong run but his dangerous cross was cut out.
A free kick from Jack Lincoln taken from the edge of the area was tipped over by Lloyd as Wroxham continued to dominate proceedings and were only denied further goals by some robust defending which brought a couple of booking s from Referee Ed Frazer. Reepham skipper Ashley Dearing went in the ref’s notebook for hauling down Lincoln who took the free kick himself but fired over.
Then Matty Doyle was felled on the edge of the area as he landed in the area but referee Frazer awarded a free kick just outside.
Wilkinson who was having a good game was replaced by Aaron Attree returning from a knee injury.
Although Reepham threatened to get another goal back, they fell further behind as Nathan Pauling punched away for Wroxham to set up another attack. Dale Webster was booked for bringing down Rogers and this time referee Taylor awarded a spot kick which was converted by Jack Lincoln sending Lloyd the wrong way to make it 3-1.
Another lovely move ended with Doyle shooting just over.
Danny Rogers replaced Maddison and he did well to pull down a long kick from Pauling before dragging his shot into Lloyds hands. But Rogers did then scored a 4th in the 88th minute when he ran onto another through ball and neatly lobbing the keeper.
This was another deserved win and Reepham couldn’t complain if it had been more.
