After taking the lead just before half-time they scored four more in the second half with Long Stratton scoring a late consolation.
Despite more team changes, Wroxham started off well and were awarded a penalty after 15 minutes when Danny Rogers was tripped. Unfortunately Sam Harty’s shot was saved. Then Rogers had a good chance but missed the target.
Wroxham continued to press forward trying to get their passing game going but were guilty of over playing.
As half time approached, there was another chance when Aaron Attree headed wide when well placed. Then following a free kick by Jack Guyton, Rogers headed down for Attree whose shot struck the bar. Wroxham again went close but the Stratton keeper pulled off an outstanding save.
Eventually the pressure paid off with Rogers converting sending his shot wide of the keeper after being set up by Harry Maddison.

Wroxham increased their lead early in the second half when Maddison broke free and curled his shot in the bottom corner. The same player had another chance and should have made it three but his effort was blocked.
Long Stratton then put some pressure on as Wroxham went to sleep and could have got back in the game but for two excellent saves by Nathan Pauling in the Wroxham goal.
However they survived those scares and went on to score three more goals in a purple patch. A good cross from Attree was slid in by Marcus Wilkinson. A through ball from Harty enabled Maddison with a good touch to round the keeper and score. Then a cut back by Marcus Wilkinson playing his first game of the season enabled sub Ashley Gray to thump home.
5-0 was slightly flattering as Long Stratton got a late consolation when Joel Howard waltzed through and his shot skimmed off Pauling’s foot into the top of the net to make the final score 5-1
Next Saturday it is Mummery Cup action with a long trip to Dersingham.
