Early play was scrappy with some poor passing and neither side able to impose themselves on the game.
Wroxham took the lead on 20 minutes when Saints ‘keeper Louis Bond took a goal kick which was meant for one of his centre backs to take forward. But they were both caught napping as Danny Rogers nipped in to take the ball off them and slip past the ‘keeper.
Saints were giving as good as they got but were reduced to 10 men on 35 minutes when in an off the ball incident, Luke Winter kicked out at Rogers and referee Paul Stearman has no hesitation in raising a red card.
Wroxham had the advantage against the 10 men but St Andrews seemed quite composed and were clearing up most of what Wroxham had to offer; it looked as if they would keep just the one goal deficit going into the break. Then Aaron Attree played a lovely cross field pass to Matt Doyle on the right whose return cross at the far post found Shaun Taylor well positioned to head home a second for The Yachtsmen.

The goal gave Wroxham a lift as they came out for the second half. They almost had a third when Jordan King’s header crashed against the bar.
Then a poor back pass by Tommy Rampling was almost punished as it fell short of Nathan Pauling in the Wroxham goal and a Saints forward should have scored but shot wide.
Eventually Wroxham did get a third and what a corker it was. Sub Harry Maddison played the ball wide to Matt Doyle who stepped forward to hit a thunderous effort in the far top corner.
It was a goal worthy of winning any match as Wroxham were well on top at his stage midway through the half. But they allowed Saints back in the game as the visitors broke away thro' their sub George Wright who placed his shot past Pauling to make it 3-1.
Wroxham became ragged and as Saints had three good chances in quick succession. First Lewis Butcher got clear only to shoot wide. Then Ross Dawson also burst through and finally Butcher’s free kick hit the bar.
Wroxham weathered the storm and another good finish put the result beyond doubt as Maddison outbattled his defender and slotted in the bottom corner for a 4-1 lead.
Saints still had a further chance to reduce the arrears when Dawson had a free header but was unable to control his chance as Wroxham held on for a good win to put behind the heavy defeat against Harleston last weekend.
