But Wroxham can feel a bit miffed they did not get anything from the game after taking the lead twice.
The opening goal for Wroxham came as early as the 3rd minute when a free-kick into the area was cleared but only as far as Ben Anderson who charged forward to get into a position where he could pick his spot with a shot across goal into the far top corner off the post.
St Andrews had a chance to get back almost straight away but James Taylor shot over when he opened up the Wroxham defence.
Wroxham though were enjoying more of the play as Danny Rogers ran clear only for his shot to be well saved by the Saints ‘keeper.
However, a free kick from former Wroxham player Shaun Dunthorne hit the post and then another ex-Yachtsman Liam Brock set up Hayden Davis whose shot brought a fine save from Kingsley Barnes.
The Saints started to get on top without causing the Wroxham defence too much trouble. Indeed Wroxham could have increased their lead when Jordan Attree had a free header from Shaun Taylor’s corner but he was unable to get a good connection and screwed his effort wide.
Then a dangerous low cross from Anderson was miss-kicked by centre half Smith and could have gone anywhere but skimmed over the bar.
Wroxham were worthy of their lead and again had a chance when another good run by Anderson landed for Attree but he was unable to take advantage.

Again at the start of the second half Anderson burst forward to set up Alex Jary who had time to shoot but chose to lay off to Attree and the chance was lost as Saints closed in on the Wroxham player.
They were to pay for those missed chances as St Andrews scored at the other end against the run of play on 60 minutes. The ball was lost in mid-field and Saints got forward to get the ball to James Taylor in the box. He did well to swivel and hit a left foot shot in the top corner.
This spurred on the home side and in the next attack Hayden Davis was taken down allowing Shaun Dunthorne to score from the spot kick to give the home side the lead.
Wroxham were not to be outdone with a clever equaliser. Jack Lincoln took a free kick on the edge of the area and simply laid it to his left for Alex Jary who unlike his earlier chance took on the ‘keeper with a deft curler into the bottom corner to make it 2-2.
Jordan Attree was then booked for what seemed a fairly innocent lunge. Things were not going for the Wroxham striker at all when a lovely cross field ball from Mac Gee found Jary who neatly pulled the ball down and crossed for Attree to shoot over.
But Wroxham regained the lead on 80 minutes with a good run by Anderson who scored by toe poking the ball across goal and it came off the far post and rolled into the net.
Wroxham thought they had wrapped up the game with that goal but Saints brought on theie substitutes with immediate effect. As they charged forward a long ball to the far post was met by a header from Mason Roe who had not been on the pitch long to level again. Finally their determination paid off when James Taylor chased down a loose ball to ram it in the net with just a couple of minutes left.
