A twice taken penalty by Jordan Attree in the 1st half before he was sent off and two second half goals from Ben Anderson and Bradley Spooner saw them through.
With several players who were involved in the FA Youth Cup defeat by Dereham on Thursday there seemed to be a slight hang over in the early play.
Wroxham should perhaps have taken the lead on 12 minutes following a good move as Jordan Attree found himself in the clear but his low shot was blocked by the ‘keeper off his legs.
Then the visiting ‘keeper charged out to deny another Wroxham chance but handled outside the area and was lucky to only be cautioned.
A shot from Bradley Spooner was going nowhere but cannoned off Attree’s legs to go narrowly wide.
Alex Philpott was booked for a rash tackle as Wroxham found it difficult to get any rhythm going.
Aylsham were getting in the game as James Oliver had a chance but clipped the ball over.
Ben Anderson was looking lively for Wroxham and he broke away but pulled his shot across goal and beyond the far post.
Nathan Caston was hobbling and eventually had to come off and was replaced by Danny Rogers which required some adjustment to the Wroxham line-up.
Mac Gee was pulled up for a foul just outside the area taken by Aylsham’s No 4 in a dangerous position but his kick became an easy save for Kingsley Barnes.
Wroxham finally took the lead on 31 minutes when Anderson was brought down inside the area and referee Tristan Watson had no hesitation in pointing to the spot. Skipper Jordan Attree chose to take the spot kick which was saved by the Aylsham ‘keeper who then denied Attree again by saving the follow-up. Fortunately for Attree the referee responded to his assistant by awarding a retake as the ‘keeper was adjudged to have moved before the kick was taken and finally the Wroxham player netted at the third attempt.
This goal seemed to have created a little niggle amongst the Aylsham players who contributed to Attree’s dismissal soon after as the assistant spotted an alleged kick out off the ball by the Wroxham player.
Wroxham held out until half-time but had to play the remainder of the game with 10 men.

Whatever was said by the management at half-time, the second half performance with 10 men was far better than the first half had been.
On 60 minutes Wroxham created the best move of the game when Anderson rounded his defender and with his pace got to the by-line to pull the ball back for Jack Lincoln who tried to pick his spot but was saved by the keeper. The rebound fell for Danny Rogers but his goal bound effort was also blocked.
Ex-Wroxham player Will Abbs had a chance at the other end but shot into the side netting but to be fair that was just about the only chance the visitors had.
Wroxham doubled their lead on 70 minutes when Rogers unselfishly set up Anderson to tap in.
Aylsham were now somewhat rattled and their No 15 was cautioned for a reckless challenge on Anderson and another player ought to have been dismissed for a head butt which the officials missed.
Wroxham settled the game on 85 minutes with brilliantly taken free-kick by Bradley Spooner. With everyone expecting him to centre the ball, he managed to curl it over the wall and into the bottom corner.
