Two first half goals from Jordan Attree provided the platform for the victory which could have been greater with a number of chances in the second half despite Spixworth pulling a goal back through ex-Wroxham player Shaun Wones.
The visitors also included two other former Yachtsmen, striker Jordan Rocastle and Ross Durrant in an experienced side who showed some early promise but no real threat to a well organised home defence.
Wroxham gained some confidence from the lack of any final finish by Spixworth but showed what needed to be done with a lovely opening goal by Attree on 15 minutes. The Wroxham striker picked his spot with a good finish.
Six minutes later it was two when a great pass by Rob Turner again found Attree in a good position to fire past Danny Lloyd.
Spixworth were shocked by this double set-back and despite trying to get back they had too many players who wanted to argue among themselves and blame the referee for not awarding a penalty.
The home side still created chances on the counter attacked with Bradley Spooner firing in a decent shot which was too close to Lloyd and they had a better chance to increase the lead with an excellent cross which found Turner whose free header was unfortunately straight at the Spixworth keeper.

Wroxham continued to create chances at the start of the second half. A neat move saw Jack Lincoln set up Time Cary who weaved his way across the penalty area to get in a low shot which went just wide. Then Same Grady set up Attree who should have scored but was no more than a foot off target.
Wroxham were playing some excellent football but payed for those misses when Spixworth managed to pull one back midway through the half when Wones slipped the ball home off the post in a goalmouth scramble.
The home side made a change replacing Cary with young Tommy Kight who soon got involved in the action. He was put through and with his pace only had Lloyd to beat but the Spixworth keeper stood up to deny him. Knight had another chance but instead of shooting himself, decided to square the ball for Lincoln who was bundled off the ball and the opportunity was gone.
A brilliant shot by Turner who was set up by Grady, cannoned off the post with Lloyd beaten and the follow-up by Lincoln was inches over.
Although Wroxham should have been further ahead there was still an opportunity for Spixworth to get back. But some great defending notably by Ollie Ebbage and Mac Gee kept them at bay and when called upon keeper Kingsley Barnes also showed a safe pair of hands.
As the minutes ticked by without the visitors creating any real threat it was clear that Wroxham would take the points for a morale boosting win. The three points gained saw them climb the table to 7th place and looking forward with confidence to another home game on Saturday against Harleston.
