The home side despite having a a hard game in midweek against Dersingham, started well and soon had Wymondham on the back foot. They hit the woodwork a couple of times with Jordan Attree looking rejuvenated. On 14 mins he ran clear and rounded the Wymondham ‘keeper John Howes only to shoot across goal and beyond the far post. Another snap effort by Attree was inches past the upright.
Wroxham continued in the driving seat and from a free-kick, Howes did well to tip the ball over.
The home side were playing with a lot of confidence but lacked composure in front of goal. This was clear when they should have taken the lead on 30 minutes. They had a couple of bites before the ball fell for Tommy Knight who somehow mishit a clear scoring chance in the six yard box.
The inevitable then happened with Wymondham taking the lead despite Wroxham having a host of chances which they failed to take. The visitors won a free kick on the edge of the area following a fairly innocent challenge. But Lewis McKerell made no mistake by planting his shot in the bottom corner close to the post with Luke Holt unable to get down to stop it.
This gave the visitors a boost and they stepped up their game to put Wroxham under pressure but there were no further goals before half-time.

Wroxham soon got themselves back in the game with an equaliser on 47 minutes. A cross came in from the left and Mac Gee was well forward to side-foot the ball home.
The home side had a great chance to take the lead when Tommy Knight who was having a good game and a constant threat to the Wymondham defence, sent over a perfect cross for Jordan Attree who must have taken his eye off the ball as he screwed wide.
Wymondham were making more of a game of it in the second period and almost grabbed the lead again when they gained a corner and as the ball came over, Tyler Curran headed off the line.
Wroxham continued to create chances and Attree went for a hopeful ball down the left to get round Howes who had chased out of his area. The Wroxham striker got in a good cross cum shot which was heading goal-wards only for a Wymondham player to head over for a corner.
Wroxham brought on their two subs but then went down to ten as the game was held up for a while when Sol Pope hurt his knee and eventually had to hobble off. The home side re-organised as Wymondham tried to take advantage and might have gone ahead with a good effort that Holt did well to stop off his legs.
With time ticking away Wroxham got the winner in the 85th minute when Tim Cary was brought down and he took the kick to send Howes the wrong way.
This was another three points to enable Wroxham to move away to a more comfortable mid-table position but it was clear the Wymondham players were gutted with the result.
