The Yachtsmen included new signing Declan McAvoy (son of Norwich City coach Frank) who has played at Conference level.
The visitors started in a very positive way and put the home side under some early pressure. They had a clear hand ball appeal denied by referee Kent in the 5th minute.
They had another chance with a good move when Danny Rogers got past the Long Stratton centre-half to pass to Tim Cary. He rounded 'keeper Macrae but was forced wide and his shot was cleared off the line for a corner. From the corner Jordan Atree who was returning from Diss headed against the bar.
Wroxham deservedly took the lead on 20 minutes when a great pass from McAvoy found Attree who ran on and lobbed the 'keeper who had come off his line.
Long Stratton then had a chance to equalise with a cross from the right and Ben Wenham had an open goal but blazed over.
Another chance fell to Attree but his shot was blocked by Macrae off his legs and he also saved saved the follow-up.
Ollie Sutton was the Wroxham saviour when he made a great save to deny the Long Stratton No 7.
In an end to end encounter Attree again had a good chance but he went too wide on the left and couldn't get his foot round the ball to hit the target.
But he soon added a second in the 40th minute as he was in the right place to toe poke past the 'keeper into an empty net.

Wroxham made a good start to the second half with Cary narrowly clearing the bar from Attree's cross. Then a McAvoy free-kick brought a great header from Attree but Macrae made an outstanding save to turn the ball over.
Almost against the run of play Long Stratton pulled one back midway through the half. Jack Smith was penalised for a foul on the edge of the area and Rhys Logan scored from the free kick with a good shot round the wall.
This put Wroxham under a little more pressure for the remainder of the game but Sutton and defensive colleagues held on for a win which almost certainly secured their place in the Premier Division for another season.
