Barnes in goal for the Lifeboatmen made a couple of fine saves in the first half when Wroxham were on top and again two point blank stops in the second half to deny the Yachtsmen. Caister scored twice against the run of play to take the points and leave the visitors looking precariously at the teams below them.
With Chris Sutton taking over at centre back and Ben Lewis beside him, Wroxham looked far more comfortable than in recent games. They were on top for much of the first half creating opportunities but lacking quality in the box. A swerving shot from Jordan King was well turned over by Barnes as Wroxham tried to open up the home side down the slope. Wroxham continued to enjoy some good possesion and another shot from King was blocked.
The best effort of the half came when Chris Sutton passed to Luke Priestley on the right who got in a fisrt time cross to Robbie Turner whose left foot shot was brilliantly saved by his youth team partner Barnes.
Caister had played their part in an end to end game but their chances were limited by the Wroxham defence and the closest they came was just before half time when they were awarded a free kick just outside the area and Danny Heller's shot beat the wall but curled over.

The second half continued with Wroxham in the driving seat and Caister possibly feeling the effects of their exertions against Kings Lynn in midweek. Priestly chased the ball to the byline and crossed for Turner whose header again brought a fine save from Barnes.
But the game turned in the 60th minute when Wroxham lost the ball in midfield and it was played down the left and a Caister player beat Dylan Daniel's for pace to get in a perfect cross for Anton Ward who had only just come on and had a free header past Ollie Sutton. This was followed by a second soon after when the home side won a corner and again Wroxham didn't clear and a Caister player tapped the ball in.
These goals upset the the dominance Wroxham had and all of a sudden they seemed drained of confidence with passes going astray.
Ben Lewis was pushed forward to try and get something back and he had a great chance with five minutes to go pulling down a cross from from Tyler Curran he seemed certain to score but once again Barnes made a another good save to deny him.
Wroxham have now failed to score in five games and will need to make sure they do very quickly with a trip to Cromer and at home to Wymondham (two teams below them) before Christmas.
