Reserves sparkle to hit seven past Shannocks

Wroxham Reserves lined up against a Sheringham side who were already holding up the table and scored seven goals to boost their goal tally.
Wroxham took an early lead when a loose ball reached Matty Doyle who strode forward to hit a first time shot which the ‘keeper palmed away but straight into the path of Tom Cary who tapped in.
Sheringham responded and a good ball inside the full back enabled James Wright to get in a shot across goal which Ollie Sutton did well to turn away for a corner.
Wroxham almost gave away an equaliser when they were awarded a free-kick only to give the ball away to Wright again and he had a chance to shoot but Sutton did well to block off his legs.
Good team play by Wroxham eventually brought a send goal on 32minutes when Matty Doyle finished off after rounding the keeper and the ball came off the far post to bobble over the line.
The young Yachtsmen were now starting to impose themselves and looked like scoring again just before the interval when Marcus Wilkinson set up Tim Cary who shot wide. However the third came moments later when the ball reached Jordon King and he picked his spot to score.

New signing John Abbot came on at half-time replacing Cain Eagleton and soon got in the game as his cross found Cary who headed wide.
At the other end Jody Norris found himself in space but didn’t have the confidence to finish off and shot wide.
Wroxham scored a 4th on 60 minutes when Doyle raced to the by line to get in a perfect cross for Marcus Wilkinson who dispatched his shot into the roof of the net with some aplomb.
A 5th followed almost straight away when Cary was put through and shot low under the keeper.
Team boss Laurence York brought on his remaining subs with Danny Rogers replacing Doyle and Ben Price on for Mac Gee.
Sheringham continued to battle and had a good chance but skipper Lee Cox shot wide.
Cary had a couple of chances to complete his hat-trick with one coming off the bar and another he shot wide.
Again Sheringham were out of luck when Cox side footed over.
Cary had two more chances before finally getting his hat-trick when Rogers set him free with a fine pass as the Wroxham striker then completed the task by rounding the keeper and slotting into an empty net.
