The only goal of the game came with the last action of the first half when referee Andy Tyne awarded a penalty against Ben Price for a trip well into injury time and then sent the Wroxham player off.
Earlier on Wroxham aggrieved after Jordan Attree was pulled down which more than justified a spot kick for the home side. However Mr Tyne ignored the appeals.
Dersingham then went close when the dangerous Daniel Joseph got into a good position only to shoot wide.
The visitors were attacking strongly throughout the first half and following a corner on 23 minutes a free header from Zac Fountain looked as if it may cause problems but lacked direction and was straight at Kingsley Barnes. Another shot from Tommy Anderson also flew just wide. Barnes was in good form though and he made another good save from Anderson spreading himslf to block the shot.
Dersingham continued to press forward but were restricted to long range by a hard working Wroxham defence.
Just when it seemed the sides would go in level at halftime and well into injury time, referee Tyne upset the home fans by awarding a penalty against Ben Price who was shown a red card. Aaron Proctor stepped up to score sending Barnes the wrong way.

Dersingham almost had a second on 65 minutes when Lewis Curson got to the byline and pulled back for Proctor whose shot cannoned off the post. Barnes continued to make some good saves and manager Laurence York decided to chage things and bring on his substitutes,
From then onwards 10 man Wroxham stormed at the visitors to try and get something from the game. They pushed forward and the Dersingham players started to get desidely edgy but Wroxham were unable to get in any clear shots on goal.
They left themselves exposed and Joseph almost took advantage but screwed his shot wide.
Dersingham just about deserved their win but Wroxham were unlucky not to get something from the game with just the one goal deciding the outcome.
