Before the game a minutes silence was observed for Peter Smith the Anglian Combination Ground Standards Officer and C’ttee Member who was also head grounds man at Norfolk FA's Football Development Centre.
A much changed Sheringham side following the departure of manager Steve Furlong started well benefitting from a strong wind behind them.
Wroxham first real chance did not arrive until 15 minutes in when ex-Wroxham ‘keeper Andy Jackson was forced into a double fisted punch to clear away a free-kick from Jordon King.
Slowly Wroxham started to dictate with Aaron Sanders and Matt Doyle combining and a Jack Smith shot blocked in a goalmothe scramble.
The visitors took the lead in the next attack on 20 minutes when Cain Eagleton did well to get the ball forward and cross for Matty Doyle to turn and hit a low shot past Jackson.
Doyle doubled the score on 33 minutes with an excellent shot on the run into the bottom corner.
Jordan King was unfairly booked as the game was hotting-up and a couple of lunging tackles by the home side passed without any action by referee Steele.
The Yachtsmen held a 2-0 half time lead which may have been more.

Wroxham nearly added to their lead on 55 minutes after Tyler Curran was up ended on the edge of the area. Aaron Sanders free-kick was expertly whipped over the wall towards the top corner but hit the bar with Jackson beaten.
Sanders reaped his reward ten minutes later when a good low cross by Doyle fell nicely for him to slide the ball home.
Undaunted Sheringham fought to get back as they gained a corner on 70 minutes. From this No.11’s header was cleared off the line by Jack Smith and then Kingsley Barnes tipped over a header from the same player.
Barnes who hadn’t had much to do before this then pulled off another good save to deny Miller.
On 80 minutes Wroxham were rewarded with a 4th goal when following good work by Smith & King, the ball fell loose and was poked home by Doyle for his hat trick.
Then an inspired substitution saw Ryan Guild add number 5 in the next attack and he scored the sixth sliding the ball past Jackson on 88 minutes.
There should have been a 7th shortly before the end when Guild played in a lovely low cross into the path of Smith who was unable to apply the finishing touch.
The players just avoided a heavy downpour with thunder as the final whistle came with Wroxham taking the points and climbing up to 9th in the table.
