Two goals in each half from Mac Gee, his first for the club, Armando Alves, Matty Doyle and Elliott Wesbey put paid to the four match winning run by the visitors. The Mattishall players were so upset and rocked at half-time they were arguing and engaged in a scrap in the changing rooms.
The young Yachtsmen had the perfect start with two goals inside ten minutes. A free kick from Laurence York had the visiting ‘keeper forcing the ball on the bar but Mac Gee was on hand at the far post to head home the rebound.
Wroxham quickly scored a second when Pedro Sanha laid off to Armando Alves who neatly slid the ball under the advancing keeper.
Wroxham almost had a third when a flowing move saw the ball set up for Jack Guyton whose shot from 20 yards flashed past the post.
Mattishall started to get themselves back in the game but while they had plenty of possession were retricted to a few long range pot shots that caused little problem for Wroxham's 16 year old keeper Joe Green on his debut.

The home side got off to the best possible start by adding a third within two minutes of the restart. Sam Neal’s cross from the right was miskicked by a defender and the ball fell to Matty Doyle who gratefully lashed the ball in the net.
Another good passing move with York instrumental saw Sanha’s looping shot tipped over by the keeper. Then Neal’s 20 yard effort went just past the post.
Mattishall had the ball in the net as they looked to make a recovery but the officials correctly ruled the effort out for offside.
Wroxham made substitutions and one of them Elliott Wesbey earned a reward for his perseverance in the 80th minute when his shot rebounded off a defender and ended in the top corner.
The win lifted Wroxham to a more respectable mid-table position on 12 points.
