Wroxham were on the front foot from the start of this game and took the lead on 10 minutes. Jamie George was fouled on the edge of the area and from the free kick Joe Marsden directed his shot around the Royals wall and into the bottom corner leaving ‘keeper Louis Cook flatfooted.
Another free kick saw Sam Harty play the ball wide to Marsden but this time his effort was blocked by the Kirkley wall.
Marsden was again in the action taking on the home defence to get in a fierce shot that wasn’t far off the target. Then Ben Lewis got forward but his shot was over the bar.
Wroxham were playing some good possession football and another Marsden long range shot was spilled by the home ‘keeper with no Wroxham forward close enough to take advantage.
The young Yachtsmen continued to play the better football with Kirkley hardly able to make any impression on the visitors defence in front of Sutton who didn’t have a shot to save. However the home side appealed for a penalty when their winger outpaced Cain Eagleton and was brought down but referee Jacques waived play on.
Wroxham took advantage with a second goal on 42 minutes when Jamie Georgecurled in an excellent shot beyond the keeper to give the visitors a two goal cushion.

The home side must have taken a rollicking at half-time as they came out with a bit more vigour after the break but Wroxham weathered the storm and continued to play the better football.
Substitutions were made with Smith and Eagleton coming off to be replaced by Thacker and Campbell.
Kirkley were incensed by the officials for contesting several decisions with their Assistant Manager being sent behind the railings.
From a corner, Jordan Attree had a chance to increase the lead further with a virtual free strike just outside the six yard box but his shot lacked any power and was straight at Cook.
Another good Wroxham move saw Boswell play the ball out wide to Marsden who drilled in a low cross which only needed a touch to divert it in the night but there was no one to finish.
Soon after Atree was replaced by Bingham.
Wroxham finally killed the game off with a third goal when Harty and Thacker combined for the substitute to get in a terrific shot which was heading goal wards until Cook leapt across full length to turn round. From the corner Jamie George’s header came off the underside of the bar and despite the effort of the full back to clear, the ball crossed the line.
