The Yachtsmen's hopes of a money spinning Budwieser FA Cup run were
virtually dashed by half time as Brentwood scored three before the break.
The first 15mins were even, though neither side created any clear cut chances to speak of but moments later Self's back pass header had to
be tipped over the Wroxham crossbar by Hilton to give the Essex side a
corner.
Butterworth's resulting kick found the head of Read, who's bullet like
header hit the upright, the rebound falling to the feet of Stokes
who's shot left Hilton with no chance, to put Brentwood 1-0 up
On 21mins Wroxham came close to leveling, Matt Daniels creating an
opening but dragged his shot just wide, that would be his last effort
of the match as he limped off to be replaced by Speller.
Following two Brentwood corners coming to nothing,Halliday's long
ball out of defense found Blake who created an opening for Ben
Thompson, his shot saved by Justham in the Brentwood goal.
Brentwood doubled their lead on 38mins,Cohens's cross found a poorly
marked Blewitt who headed into the net.
Right on half time a poor clearance by the Yachtsmen keeper Hilton
only found Abs Thompson for Brentwood, the wingers right foot cross found Read who fired home.

Rio Starkings replaced Eastaugh at the interval,Wroxham shifting to
a more attacking formation in an attempt claw their way back into this
Cup-tie and on 47mins White advanced himself into a goal scoring
position but his shot was straight at the keeper
On 58mins the game was put beyond the Yachtsmen as man of the match
Abs Thompson made it four for the Essex side, netting, following good
approach play by Brentwood.
On the hour-mark Cook replaced the tired Blake in a bid to get
something from the match.
The closest Wroxham would come to a consolation goal came on 70mins
when Lemmon's shot was well saved by Brentwood keeper Justham.
Moments later Brentwood made it five, substitute,Cousins popping up in a crowded Wroxham penalty area to stab the ball home.
Brentwood then had two further goal scoring chances which went begging on seventy nine and eighty seven minutes, before Danny White, still up for the fight to the end, shot wide.
