Wroxham’s best play was coming down the left, with young left back Danny Rust making some dangerous forward runs, with only the final product lacking.
With not much in the way of free flowing football, it was unsurprising that a set piece provided the game’s second goal as Tilbury doubled their lead after 42 minutes.
A Sam Cutler corner was whipped in from the left, with Sam West rising highest to head home at the near post.
Wroxham almost got back in it straight away, Joe Marsden making a darting run down the right before unleashing his shot, the ball spinning up in the air from the Chico Ramos’ save into the path of Paul Cook only for his header to be scrubbed off for an apparent push.
