The away side stunned the hosts with a blistering start, Kyle Downes scoring on the turn after 30 seconds before Ryan Hawkins doubled their lead with a well taken drive from the edge of the box five minutes later.
Paul Cook did get one back for The Yachtsmen after 67 minutes with a well struck finish, making for an exciting final 20 minutes.
But the Yachtsmen couldn’t find the equaliser, despite having two goals disallowed, as Dereham held out for a hard fought win.
Wroxham struggled to find their passing rhythm all game, with a highly organised Dereham side stifling them on numerous occasions, although an improved second half will give Guziejko and his men promise as they look to their FA Cup First Preliminary Round tie against Peterborough Northern Star next weekend.
Dereham made the ideal start with a goal after 30 seconds, the ball whipped in from the left wing for Dereham striker Downes to take it on the chest, before lacing a smart strike on the turn past Scott Cruickshank in the Wroxham goal.
And it was 2-0 five minutes later, a swift break from the Magpies catching Wroxham short on the right wing, allowing Hawkins the space to dispatch a well taken shot across the ‘keeper from 20 yards.
The set up of the away side seemed to unnerve the Yachtsmen, with their normal free flowing passing game falling short time and time again in an attempt to find a way back into the game.
The home side did eventually settle, but a series of half chances, including a strike from Remy Gordon from the edge of the area that stung the hands of goalkeeper Adam Wilton, was the best they could muster.
The Magpies still looked dangerous on the break, with Adam Smith unleashing a 30 yard pile driver with five minutes of the half remaining that forced Cruickshank to tip the ball smartly around the post.
Wroxham almost made the perfect start to the second half, Ross Durrant whipping the ball in dangerously from a free kick onto the head of Cook, the striker unable to hit the target with his header after finding himself free from six yards.
The organisational qualities of Dereham were beginning to frustrate Wroxham, with a disallowed Rio Starkings header adding to the annoyance.
However, the Yachtsmen were beginning to find more space as the half wore on, and they finally got the breakthrough they deserved after 67 minutes, Paul Cook smashing home after good work from the Wroxham midfield.
As Wroxham pushed hard for an equaliser, they were leaving themselves exposed at the back and they had Gordon to thank for keeping them in the game, the winger clearing off the line from a Dereham header after Cruickshank had lost the flight of the ball.
Controversy then ensued with seven minutes to go. Joe Marsden crashed a stunning effort off the bar, before following up to bundle the ball home only for the referee to pull him back for handball.
But Dereham held out to secure their second win in three days and leaving Wroxham disappointed in defeat.
