The Yachtmen made the long trip to North London and were beaten by an 86th minute goal from Forest’s Oyetunji Oyewale his second of the game.
The Stags who had lost their three opening games without scoring, included two new signings in striker Richard Worrall who was a prolific Step 5 goal scorer at AFC Dunstable and ‘keeper Ashley Harris who has seen experience with Potters Bar and Enfield Town.
Against the odds Forest scored their first goal of the season on when Harfo’s cross was fumbled by Wroxham ‘keeper Scott Cruickshank and Oyetunji poked the ball in the net.
In a game of gimmies The Yachtsmen equalised a minute later when Kartal fluffed his clearance and Paul Cook was on hand at the back post to steer the ball home.
The home side were close again when Oyewale cut the ball back for Harfo who fired over under pressure.
But it wasn’t long before they were back in the lead with a debut goal for Worrell who stroked a lovely free kick into the top corner on 29 minutes
Forest were in command as a fingertip save from Cruishank kept out Mustafa and Oyewale shot rattled the crossbar.

As the second half got underway Cruickshank made a fine diving save to keep out Worrell from adding to the scoreline.
Wroxham finally found a bit of form on 75.minutes as Ross Durrant rounded the keeper to slot home for his second goal in two games.
The Stags had a further chance to restore their advantage soon after when Worrell fired wide from Oyewale’s cross and the home striker went even closer when he hit the bar.
Finally Forest were back in front on 86 minutes when Ezel’s crossed for Oyewale who was waiting at the back post to fire home.
Wroxham tried hard to get back in the game and came close when Harris gratefully collected the ball in a goalmouth scramble. With The Yachtsmen pressing forward, they were almost undone again when Worrell shot over from 12 yards. But there was no further and Wroxham fell to their second away defeat in a disappointing performance.
