Wroxham started the game brightly but couldn't create any clear cut chances.
The home side began to get a foothold in the game and on 9 minutes, Stuart Zanone fired a shot across goal. Then Lea Dawson got a shot in on goal which was deflected wide.
Then an Ashley Probets corner was punched out and Sean Roberts shot went wide as Thamesmead kept the Wroxham defence busy. Zanone was involved again setting up Dawson who's shot went wide.
The visitors repelled the pressure as Ben Thompson got in a low cross which the Mead defence cleared over their own bar.
With 30 minutes gone, The Yachtsmen took the lead from a corner which found Thompson who set up Jamie Forshaw for a shot which took a slight deflection past Rob Budd in the Mead goal.
Thamesmead responded as Probets free kick was headed goalwards by Lewis Tozer but easily held by Michael Hilton. Then the Mead got back on level terms in the 39th minute, when the ball was worked to Baff Addae, whos initial shot was blocked, but he then picked up the rebound and sent a low shot past Hilton in the Wroxham goal.
Wroxham almost regained the lead just before half time but they couldn't divert a low cross in to the goal and Thamesmeads skipper, Tozer, defended well.

The second half was a tight affair, with both teams defending well making clear chances very hard to come by.
Wroxham had a corner which the Mead defended well, while at the other end Meads Jack Hopkins picked up a loose ball but sent his shot well over the bar.
Wroxham sub Matt Blake then hooked a shot wide and the visitors Remy Gordon sent a free kick over everyone but wide.
A Probets free kick was well defended by Wroxham and then Stuart Zanone had a shot deflected just wide as time began to run out.
With Wroxham looking to hang on for a point Thamesmead were awarded a controversial corner in the 91st minute, which was strongly disputed. Ashley Probets delivery wasn't dealt with by Wroxham and the ball landed at the feet of Thamesmead's Algerian loanee sub Enoch Adjei,in his last game for the club, who fired home a low shot, and sent the Mead player's wildly celebrating.
This was almost repeat of the scenes at Wroxham earlier in the season when the Yachtsmen scored a late winner but this time it was the Thamesmead players and bench who went ecstatic as the ball hit the net.
The home side took the points to continue their push for a play-off place. Meanwhile Wroxham returned licking their wounds and needing to pick themselves up for Tuesday's difficult League Cup trip to Concord Rangers who gave themselves a boost by beating Bury Town 4-0 away in the Premier Division.
