Wroxham captain Graham Challen and striker Ben Thompson were omitted from the starting line-up, both with long-term injuries.
Those aside, Manager David Batch had a fully fit squad for Wroxham's debut Ryman League encounter against Hertfordshire outfit Potters Bar Town.
The match kicked off in soaring temperatures and neither side gained any momentum in the opening moments of this game.
Then on 10 minutes following a nasty clash of heads Wroxham midfield man
Andy Eastaugh was taken to Hospital and was replaced by Ross Durrant.
This incident seemed to spark Potters Bar into life as they took control of the game, always seemingly able to find the spare man and the front two of the home side, Gershfield and Alley started looking increasingly dangerous.
At the other end Wroxham target man Langlois was working hard to find an
opening but the final ball to get the young Frenchman into a scoring position was always found wanting.
It would be 35 mins before either side created a clear cut chance, Potters Bar midfielder Urquhart making a solo run before shooting wide of the Wroxham goal.
Four minutes later a simular run by Wroxham's Langlois resulted in a
claim for a penalty after going down in the Potters Bar box, referee
Russ Howes was not impressed and waved play on.

Following the break Wroxham came out all guns blazing with Captain
Lemmon leading by example displaying some determined work along with White and Daniels in an attempt to get on top of the game but only one corner in the opening 10 mins of the second period would be their reward.
The best opening of the match then fell to Potters Bar wide man
Del Thompson who found himself alone within striking distance of the
Wroxham goal but to the relief of Hilton in goal, who watched the ball sail over his bar.
On the hour came the first breakthrough and it was the impressive
Potters Bar front man James Gershfield who made no mistake converting
after good work from Dan Alley.
Five minutes later with Wroxham looking jaded in the heat the same two
linked up again with killing effect Gershfield claiming his and Potters Bar's second of the match.
Wroxham made changes with Josh Turner replacing the out of sorts
Ross Durrant and Matt Blake for the exausted Langlois and it was
Blake who made immediate impact with an effort that went just wide.
It was Blake again with 10 mins to go who would give The Yachtsmen
a life-line slamming the ball home after some determined running.
With time running down the Wroxham faithful had their hopes of a
first Ryman league point dashed by referee Howes when he pointed
toward the raised flag of assistant Chisholm for off-side after Paul
Cook had shot home.
