Two goals within the opening 20 minutes saw VCD on the way to victory.
VCD determined to reverse a 4nil defeat at Trafford Park in November, went straight on the attack after which Rashid Kamara put them ahead on 9 minute and the lead was doubled through Joe Bruce on 17 minutes. Both goals resulted from sloppy defending by The Yachtsmen.
VCD looked well set until Jack Guyton tucked the ball home in the six yard box on 25 minutes to give the visitors some hope of a way back.
Within 10 minutes of the half time break they were level when Tom Rampling's ball in from the flank was met by a glancing header from Jack Newman which found the net.
Lifted by this Wroxham fought hard to keep the score level at half time with the hope of getting a point.
But the errors continued and they were fortunate when Joe Bruce scored but the effort was disallowed.
Then a further goal finally came on 59 minutes when Kamara set Victor Zapata Caicedo clear where he rounded Elliott Pride in the Wroxham goal to give VCD the lead again.
But the goalfest was not over as Armani Schaar scored from the spot when he was brought down and dusted himself to find the bottom corner.
With the game looking to end all square Wroxham again conceded within two minutes when Saio Blackwood scored for the Vickers.
Wroxham had their chances in this game but were unable to come back again and were disappointed after being 2nil down not to get a point.
This makes Tuesday's trip to Heybridge Swifts even more vital as they need a confidence boosting win with games running out fast.
