Life shows no sign of getting any better for Wroxham after a heavy defeat against a fellow struggler.

The Yachtsmen had a chance to leapfrog Thamesmead but now find themselves five points behind their opponents – and still three behind the next team Great Wakering Rovers.
Wroxham again had to make changes with Matt Halliday absent and Adam Plumstead still injured. Jordan Attree on his return from Thetford made the starting line-up with brother Aaron on the bench. Sam Gauntlett started in mid-field with U18 top scorer Nathan Stewart on his debut getting a chance to make a name for himself.
It was Mead striker Paul Vines though who provided most of the fireworks as the bottom two met at Bayliss Avenue.
Mead edged in front when Vines, who had earlier missed a great chance, swept home Aaron Rhule’s centre on the half hour.
Vines grabbed his second 11 minutes later after the break following good work by Ellis Green, before Wroxham put themselves back in the game with 20 minutes left through Ross Gilfedder.
However, Vines completed his hat-trick 11 minutes from time and substitute Jeremiah Efe added a fourth in stoppage time.
This was a very disappointing performance for Wroxham although team boss Damian Hilton remains confident they can still haul themselves out of danger. Unfortunately, some of the changes didn’t work out and with three heavy defeats on the trot, Hilton and assistant David Coyle have work to do to restore confidence after the mini-revival in mid-October.
Wroxham team: Elliot Pride, James Baughurst, Liam Clayton, Cassimiro Datacampol, Ben Lewis, Matt Cook, Crusie Nyadzayo, Sam Gauntlett, Ross Gilfedder, Nathan Stewart, Jordan Attree
Subs: Davilian Katabana, Aaron Attree, Charlie Norman
