
Wroxham began the game on the front foot and were ahead in the second minute. Ryan Hawkins was played in with a defence splitting through-ball. His shot was pushed out by keeper Montel Joseph and Ryan Miles was on hand to finish into the net.
On 20 minutes, the Yachtsmen went 2-0 ahead. A clearance from the visitors hit a player in the middle of the pitch. The ball fell nicely to Harley Black, making his 200th Yachtsmen appearance and he was able to find Ryan Miles who finished past the Rocks keeper.
Just after the half-hour, East Thurrock got a goal back and what a finish it was. Harry Critchley shot from distance which arrowed into the far corner past the diving Tom Coombe.
It was an entertaining game for the supporters and the end to end play was going to get more prevalent when Wroxham's Ryan Hawkins was given his second yellow card of the afternoon to leave the Yachtsmen, a player down with over 30 minutes left to play.
With just under 20 minutes to play, the visitors made it 2-2. Roman Michael-Percil was the goalscorer with a low shot from just outside the penalty area.
Both sides were now looking to get the winner and Wroxham were handed a boost when Jack McQueen was given his second caution to leave it 10 players each.
Wroxham were dealt a killer blow in injury time when the Rocks forward Brian Moses was able to untangle his long legs to shoot the ball into the net past the sprawling Coombe.
With the final whistle blown, there was a fracas on the pitch and the visitor's substitute Jordan Peart was shown his second caution followed by a red card but unfortunately was too late to assist the Yachtsmen.
