The free roaming midfielder was a constant thorn in Wroxham’s side, his fourth minute free kick starting the ball rolling in what was a fairly comfortable victory for the hosts.
Adrian Sear made it 2-0 after 20 minutes with a deflected effort, before a third through a Liam Hurst header a minute after the restart cemented the Saints’ lead.
Ross Durrant scored a spectacular effort to get one back for The Yachtsmen after 53 minutes but it proved nothing more than a consolation as the Saints emerged victorious.
St Neots were in control for long periods of the game, with Luis Tibbles in the Wroxham goal pulling off a string of superb saves to keep the score down.
But a spirited second half riposte from The Yachtsmen, which saw them trouble the hosts on various occasions as the game wore on, will be pleasing for Guziejko and his men.
St Neots were ahead after four minutes, a rash challenge from Joe Marsden on the edge of the box allowing Hilliard the chance from the free kick, his well struck effort bypassing everyone on its way into the net.
Hilliard was almost at it again five minutes later, capitalising on sloppy play from the Wroxham defence to send a stinging effort at Tibbles in goal, who’s save rebounded back to the right winger who could only blast over at the second attempt.
The Yachtsmen were creating chances of their own, the best of which falling to Paul Cook, who failed to connect when given a golden opportunity from eight yards after a Remy Gordon cross.
Wroxham were then on the wrong end of a deflected goal, their third against in two games, as St Neots made it 2-0, Adrian Sear with the effort from just inside the box that looped past Tibbles.
It was St Neots who were doing all the pressing as Wroxham were reduced to half chances, the best of which falling to Gordon after 35 minutes whose smart turn and shot was well saved by Niall Conroy in the St Neots goal.
The home side were utilising the width of the pitch more as the half wore on, with left winger Ed Adjei almost catching out Tibbles with a cross come shot that the keeper smartly tipped wide.
St Neots then began the second half in the same attacking vain, Hilliard hitting the post with another free kick before Hurst made it 3-0 moments later.
Bobby-Joe Taylor found space on the right before laying an inch-perfect cross onto the head of Hurst, who beat his man at the front post to head in.
This goal seemed to spur the Yachtsmen on, Gordon first having a one-on-one effort saved before Ross Durrant pulled one back for the visitors with a characteristic long range effort after 53 minutes.
The game was ebbing and flowing as the game reached the hour mark but it was St Neots who were still in the ascendancy, Tibbles being forced into a superb point blank save from an Adrian Sear header.
The young ‘keeper was called upon again as the Saints pushed for a fourth, tipping a Kieren Joseph effort round the post as the game moved into the final 15.
A spirited final flurry from The Yachtsmen proved to be futile, with Cook having two good chances that he was unable to convert in an entertaining finale.
