The early stages of the game saw the visitors dominate with Brister having a shot blocked before Larkins, who was enjoying plenty of possession down the right flank saw a shot saved and the rebound blocked by the home defence.

Cooper who was controlling the midfield, picked up a loose ball and beat three players only to fire her shot straight at the keeper and Holloway also kept the keeper busy as the visitors looked for the breakthrough.

The hosts although being on the back foot for the first twenty minutes showed they could not be taken lightly and Fullbrook in the Wroxham goal was forced into a fine double save after the visitors had lost possession in midfield.

Good interplay between Cooper and Larkins saw the latter put in a dangerous cross but Brister could only steer the ball just wide, then Flatt fired just over the bar after picking up a poor clearance.

The visitors had their loud appeals for a penalty turned down after a Haringey defender clearly handled the ball but the referee waved play to continue, which saw Haringey quickly counter-attack and Fullbrook was forced into a good save to keep the score goalless.

As the half drew to a close both Holloway and Bullard had shots saved, but neither side was able to break the stalemate with the home side clearly more enthusiastic about the scoreline.

It was the hosts who started the brightest of the sides after the break and a move down the right flank culminated in Fullbrook saving at the near post before the rebound was wide of the target from an acute angle.

Cooper who was still a force in midfield beat two players before feeding Holloway but after cutting inside was unable to beat the keeper. However, it was the hosts who opened the scoring in the 55th minute. A half-cleared ball was slotted past Fullbrook to give Haringey a 1-0 lead.

Spurred on by this reverse, Wroxham pushed forward looking for an equaliser. Flatt had two efforts on goal, one which was just over the bar and the other just wide.

With 20 minutes remaining, Kindred replaced Brister and was in the action straightaway forcing the hosts to concede a corner, which from the clearance, a shot from the visitors crashed against the crossbar.

Larkins was pushing further up field and sending in dangerous crosses, but unfortunately for Wroxham all efforts were saved by the keeper until in the 91st minute, Larkins pin-point cross was turned in by Kindred to salvage a point for Wroxham, leaving the hosts still without a win this season, which they can feel hard done by in this game.
