The Yachtswomen got their league campaign off the a flying start with a comprehensive
12-0 victory against King’s Lynn Town.
Wroxham showed their intent from the start and has a goal disallowed after 5 minutes. However, they did not have to wait long to open the scoring with Fuller setting up Connell to slot home.
Straight from the restart, the Yachtswomen gained possession and Fuller was put through to double the lead.
Midway through the half it was 3-0 when Drummie put Gambell free out wide and after beating a couple of defenders fired home from just inside the penalty area.
Just before the break, Middleton was on hand to score after Russell had a shot parried by the keeper and in added time Russell fired home from 25 yards after the ball was played inside by Gambell, to give Wroxham a 5-0 lead at halftime.
It didn’t take long for Wroxham to increase their lead after the break, with a long ball from Kett finding Middleton to complete her brace shooting across the keeper.
Fuller converted a Robson cross to make it
7-0 after 50 minutes, whilst at the other end. Gowing in the Wroxham goal was virtually a spectator as the home side struggled to mount a meaningful attack.
It was 8-0 midway through the second half when Robson converted from a Walker corner, before Fuller completed her hat-trick 10 minutes later.
A Clarke cross supplied Fuller with her 4th of the game and the 10th goal as Wroxham continued to push forward at every opportunity.
To compound the home sides misery, an Alexander cross was turned into her own goal by a Lynn defender before in added time Bullard nipped in between a defender and the keeper to convert Fullers cross as Wroxham brought up a dozen goals to top the league table.
