The Yachtswomen started on the front foot and a promising move in the 1st minute was ruled offside. However, the early pressure paid off with Waters heading home a flick on by Forshaw from Walkers corner.
Most of the game was being played in the Lawford half and the home side playing a high line were catching Wroxham offside at times, but breaking the trap Bullard saw a good cross collected by the keeper.
At the other end an attack by Lawford saw Lightfoot comfortably collect a high cross into the goal area.
The continued press by the visitors reaped dividends when they doubled their lead just before half-time. A good move between Waters, Forshaw and Bullard saw the laters shot tipped over the bar and from the resultant corner, Horn’s shot was unable to be kept on by the keeper to give Wroxham a 2-0 lead at the break.
Lawford had their best spell of the game just after the restart, but it wasn’t long before the Yachtswomen gained control again with Forshaw having a shot saved and Walker’s dangerous cross collected by the keeper under pressure.
Wroxham had a goal by Waters disallowed for offside, but 3 minutes late the same player collected a through ball and slipped it past the keepr.
The hosts pulled a goal back with a shot which was deflected over Lightfoot, but the tree goal cushion was restored 3 minutes later with Waters completing her hattrick after the ball was headed on by Forshaw.
Wroxham used their subs in the closing stages bringing on Densley, Rudd and Olive and the last real effort saw Forsham crash a shot against the bar before being cleared as the Yachtswomen secured a 4-1 victory and a place in the next round.
