The Yachtswomen opened the scoring on 6 minutes after Hayley Kindred was brought down in the penalty area, who then slotted the penalty past the keeper. Three minutes later Kindred's corner drifted into the far corner of the goal to give the Yachtswomen a 2 goal lead. Just before the half hour Hannah Fuller made it 3-0, after closing down a defender beating her to the ball and rounding the keeper, as Wroxham went into the break with a comfortable lead.

After half time and playing with the strong wind, Dussindale played higher up the pitch, but a quick break saw Fuller brought down for a penalty on 62 minutes, which Gambell converted.
Seven minutes later came the unfortunate injury which halted play and it was deemed unwise to move the Dussindale player until an ambulance arrived, leaving the referee no alternative but to abandon the game.
