Yachtswomen hit nine in League Plate

The Yachtswomen advanced into the next round of the League Plate with a 9-0 demolition of Hertford Town this afternoon.
Wroxham set the tone for the afternoon by taking the lead within the first minute with Holly Farrow converting a Maddie Green cross.
Despite being camped in the Hertford half, it took 40 minutes for the Yachtswomen to increase their lead with Kathryn Stanley scoring a brace in as many minutes to lead 3-0 at the break.
Another quick goal at the start of the second half with Hannah Fuller flicking home a Lily Alexander corner and 5 minutes later, Alexander scored direct from a corner to give Wroxham a 5 goal advantage.
Poppy Loveland made it 6-0 from another Alexander corner befoe Maddie Green scored the seventh.
Lauren Bullard capitalised on a defensive mistake to make it 8-0 and just before the final whistle Maddie Green completed her brace with a long range shot to secure a comfortable 9-0 victory.
