
A goal in each half was enough to see Wroxham progress to the next round of the FA Cup at the expense of Norfolk neighbours Fakenham Town
The Yachtsmen went ahead on 16 minutes. A long throw was headed on by James Everett and Harry Barker was left with the easiest of opportunities heading in from close range.
Wroxham doubled their lead with 15 minutes left in the contest through substitute striker, James Moore.
After the game manager Jordan Southgate was pleased to progress after two difficult games against energetic opponents. He pointed out that with a stronger squad, he was able to bring on second half substitutes who made a real impact and restored momentum at a time when the visitors were pushing for an equaliser.
The Yachtsmen now start their league campaign with two home games. On Saturday 9th August at 3pm Walthamstow are the visitors to the Ginger Pickle Arena and then next Tuesday ,12th August, Downham Town are the visitors, kick off 7.45pm.
