While we will need to wait another month before we discover who and where we will play on the opening day of the league season and whether we will be home or away on Boxing Day , this Friday 13th June the dates will be released for the rounds of the Fa Cup, FA Trophy and the FA Youth Cup.

At the end of the month a list will be published of clubs accepted into the various competitions and details of the prize fund will also be revealed. Then on Friday July 4th the draw for the Extra-Preliminary and Preliminary Round will be made.

With regard to Isthmian League fixtures, the league revealed that the IT company that produces the fixture lists also produces those for Steps 1-3 of the football pyramid, and therefore Step 4 will have to wait its turn.

With Premier League fixtures released on June 18th and Football League fixtures on June 26th, it is not difficult to appreciate why we’ll need to wait to mid-July.
