Mark Roe to leave Wroxham Football Club at the end of the season after seven years with the Club.

After seven years at the Club, Reserve Team Manager Mark Roe has announced he will be leaving at the end of this season.

Commenting on his departure, Mark Roe said: "I would like to thank everybody at Wroxham Football Club, the staff and players, for the past seven years. It's been a great honour and pleasure to manage the U18s initially and the Reserves subsequently, and see so many young players push on to our first team and other first teams. Most importantly, thank you to Jordan who has put up iwth me, supported me and become a genuine friend. I will always have Wroxham Football Club in my heart"

Jordan Southgate said: "I’d like to personally thank Mark for the outstanding job he has done as manager of the reserves and previously the U18s. He’s done a remarkable job - winning the Mummery Cup last season was fantastic but for me the biggest achievement is the impact and progression he has had on so many young players development. Mark has been a pleasure to work with, patient, understanding and an all round top guy. He is someone I will miss having at the club but I wish nothing but the best of luck to Mark moving forwards!"

Chairman James Blower added: "It's a hard job to balance the needs of the first team, to develop young players coming through and still win football matches - Mark has done this exceptionally and always with a smile on his face. We will all miss him at Trafford Park and thank him for everything he has contributed over the past seven years."

The Club is inviting applications for the role of Reserve Team Manager for the 2024/25 season and these should be made to James Blower via james@wroxhamfc.club
