The great and the good (minus a few!) gathered at Trafford Park to celebrate the end of the 2021-22 season for the Under 18s, Reserves, Senior Men's and Women's teams.

Everyone in the club whether they are players, management, volunteers or supporters can count themselves as winner this season. Out of those, there were a few awards made on the night.

The winners on the evening of the awards were as follows:

Under 18s

Managers' Player: Joe Boardman
Players' Player: Lawrie Babington

Congratulations to the side for going undefeated through the season and also to those who have stepped up to represent or train with the senior sides.

Reserves

A special award was commissioned this year in memory of former Club Secretary Ray Bayles for the volunteer of the year. This was awarded to groundsman, Barry Letten.

A good evening was had by all with a delicious buffet spread produced by Rachel and Louise Cole. Also, there was a successful raffle and a marvellous auction conducted by Daz Plowman-Read in aid of Scotty's Little Soldiers. Thank you to everyone for their generosity especially those who may have been bidding against themselves...Tom Huckerby!

We look forward to getting back to Trafford Park for the start of the football season which will bring new challenges for all of the sides. Have a great (short) break and take care of yourselves over the next few weeks. Ahoy!
