After a fairly even start, Wroxham slowly gained the ascendancy and a Kindred effort landed on top of the net before Docking had a goalbound shot blocked before the ball was cleared.
Against the run of play, Sudbury took the lead when their striker latched on to a through ball to fire home, although their was a hint of offside in the move, as the visitors held a slender lead at the break.
