Today, Wroxham travel to Takeley in the last league game of the season. The Yachtsmen go into today’s fixture still with an outside chance of a place in the play offs.

Wroxham , win,lose or draw, are guaranteed to finish no lower than in 8th place. However depending on the results of the clubs currently above them , there is a possibility that they could finish in either 5th, 6th or 7th place in Isthmian League North.

All this is in stark contrast to twelve months ago when the club’s survival in the league depended on the result of the last game.

So whatever the result today it has been a wonderful season and all credit goes to Jordan Southgate and his coaching staff and the group of players who have shown grit, resilience and commitment since the season began last August.
