On Sunday, Katie Knights ( previously of Wymondham Town and Norwich City) signed for Wroxham Women, making her first appearance in the league defeat to Stevenage. It is a huge moment for Wroxham Women with such a high profile signing being attracted to the ongoing project at the club. Manager, Adam Race, has chased Knights for most of the season and was finally able to clinch her move in the last week. Knights is still one of Norfolk's most talented midfielders, at 25 she still has a lot to show. Katie adds to the October signing of Becca Russell also of Norwich and Wymondham. Another move which shows strong ambition from Adam Race who is looking to build a strong side to take on the teams at the top end of the ERWFL. Midway through the season Wroxham find themselves at the wrong end of the table, but with plenty of games in hand and now the addition of Knights, there is promise of ending the season strong along with a county cup semi final against her old team still to come.
