Some dates for your diary.
At present the F.A. have not confirmed when clubs will join the competition, but if we assume we will be in the draw for the first preliminary round of games, then this situation will be as follows:

The FA Cup

Extra-Preliminary Round - Saturday 5th August
Preliminary Round- -Saturday 19th August
First Qualifying Round - Saturday 2nd September

The dates for the FA Trophy were also decided:

First Qualifying Round - Saturday 9th September
Second Qualifying Round - Saturday 23rd September
Third Qualifying Round - Saturday 7th October

The FA will announce which round clubs will enter its various competitions on Friday 30th June.
The draw is likely to take in early July.
